From government inspector to innovator

Our co-founder Caroline worked for over 15 years in the government as the director of the environmental department, where she oversaw companies on a daily basis, checking their compliance with legal inspections and permits, among other things.

At the end of 2018, she decided to change course. In her role as an environmental inspector, she had often seen that for entrepreneurs, it’s really not easy to stay up to date with the hundreds of environmental and safety regulations. Even less so to figure out how to obtain the necessary knowledge and then implement it on the work floor. She realized there was an opportunity to help entrepreneurs stay compliant with regulations before they run into trouble. And so, Artion was born — a SaaS platform for automating legally required environmental and safety inspections of company installations.
