Good news for companies managing asbestos risks in buildings or installations: Artion is entering into a partnership with CleverCheck, a recognised specialist in asbestos inventories and certification. From today, Artion users can request both an official Asbestos Certificate and a complete Asbestos Inventory.
Why this matters: asbestos obligations are urgent
Since 23 November 2022, owners of buildings constructed before 2001 are legally required to provide an asbestos certificate when selling a property. However, even apart from property transactions, employers are under a statutory duty to identify and manage asbestos risks in the workplace – particularly in older warehouses, offices or technical installations.
Failing to do so not only carries legal consequences but also endangers employees’ health. All the more reason to take action today.
